SELWYN ARTHUR WENZLICK
With heavy hearts but plenty of fond and mischievous memories, we say goodbye to Selwyn, who passed away on 25th February 2025, aged 84. A devoted husband to Pam, a loving dad to Sheralyn, Courtney, and Kerryn, the best granddad to Lucas, Finn, Brooke & Kaylee, and much loved by Ian, Lisa & Kylie. His quick wit, twinkle in the eye, and knack for finding humour in just about anything will be sorely missed. NGAIRE VALMA JONES (nee COLE)
It is with heavy hearts that we the Jones whānau of Wellsford announce the sudden passing of our dearly loved Mother, Grandmother, Great and Great Great Grandmother Ngaire (Nynee) Jones, on 26th February 2025, aged 87. Nynee will lie in state at her home at Matheson Road, Wellsford from Thursday 27th February late afternoon until Saturday 1st March 2pm. Come in bright colours to honour her memory. DAVID KINGSLEY ADAMS
The family of David Adams announce his passing on 20th February 2025, aged 87. David leaves his wife Wendy, children Nicola and Scott, daughter in law Jo, and his beloved grandchildren Cooper, Holly. Acacia, and Amy. A service to celebrate David's life will be held on Wednesday 26th February 2025 at 11am at the Warkworth Golf Club, 5/4 Golf Road, Warkworth. Passed away peacefully on 27 January 2025 at home, aged 84 years. Dearly loved husband of Georgette. Much loved by family, and loved Poppa. SIBYL THORNTON PATRICK
Peacefully on 27 January 2025 at North Shore Hospital after a brief illness. She was almost 91 years old. And what a life she led. Married to the late John for 61 years. Loved by family – Alastair and Dianne, Dave and Sheena, Sally and Nigel, Paul, Steph. Adored Gran to Lee and Rachel, Tegan and Michael, Briar, Brendan and Krissy, Liv, Isobel, Darren and Abbey, Skyler. Sibyl’s life was enriched by a wide circle of friends across the world for which she was so grateful. Sibyl’s funeral will be held at the Magnolia Room at besoul Funerals, 12 Gumfield Drive, Warkworth at 1.30pm on Saturday 15 February 2025. Dianne passed away peacefully with her beloved husband by her side on 13th January 2025, aged 84 years. Dianne was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. It is with deep grief and sadness to announce the passing of our treasured and much loved husband, father, father-in-law, koro, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, best mate, friend and all round bloody good fulla Derek Te Iwi Kau Studd who was tragically taken from us on the 24th December 2024. Derek will be laying at home from Sunday 29th December until Tuesday 31st December at 371 Pah Hill Road, Wharehine, Wellsford. Derek will leave home at 11.30am in his Dodge Ram to ‘The Rok Bar’ (387 Underwood Road, Wharehine, 0973) where his service will be held from 12pm sharp. "A great Totara has fallen in the Kaipara". Derek was larger than life in all ways, and he will leave a massive hole in our hearts. Thank you for all the love, support and help through this very tough time. Sadly passed away on 23rd December 2024, surrounded by her loving family, at Hibiscus Hospice, aged 48 years. Dearly loved partner of Mark, and cherished Mother of Chanelle. Loved daughter of Barry and the late Alma Swanerton, and loved step daughter of Helen. Loved and treasured by all her family and friends. Born January 05, 1929. Beloved Mother of Nicholas and Timothy, adored Aunt of Angela and Gabrielle. Nan lived a full and wonderful life, spending more time caring for others than herself.
