Kate passed away peacefully in her home at Algies Bay on Sunday 13 September 2026, aged 91. Much loved mother and mother-in-law to Lisa and Graham, Verity and Lisa, Tilda, and Julia. Nana to Luke, Kelsey, Jessamy, Francis, Claris, and Maya, great-grandmother to Ted, Darby, and Quincy. Kate was cared for by her four devoted daughters and the very special Imelda Miranda. A service to celebrate Kate’s dynamic life of service to the health sector, in her community, and with her cherished family, will be held at 11am on Friday 18 September 2026 at besoul Funerals, 12 Gumfield Drive, Warkworth. In keeping with Kate’s love of colour we invite you to wear something bright or colourful if you wish.
