After doing all there is to do in the world, Richard ‘Rick’ Hamblin has sadly left us behind on his next travels. Rick is on the road somewhere enjoying life’s guilty pleasures, dancing on tables and entertaining everyone with his stories. Loved by many far and wide, he leaves as great a legacy as one could want, with his tales of mischief continuing to bring joy and laughter. Rick and Bronwyn’s ‘darling dorta’ Anja is lucky to have enough love and good times to last a lifetime and will do her best to fill his shoes as the life and soul of the party until they meet again. Rick’s family kindly request their wishes for a private funeral service are honoured but invite you to join them in celebration of his life at Bridge House Lodge, 16 Elizabeth Street, Warkworth on Friday 12 May, 2023 at 12.30pm. Passed away peacefully on 5th May 2023 at North Shore Hospital, aged 92. Loved by his son Mark, daughter-in-law Sarah and his grandchildren, and extended family and friends. He will be forever in our hearts. A service for Robert will be held at Warkworth Anglican Christ Church, Church Hill, Warkworth on Friday 12th May 2023, at 2pm followed by private cremation. The last one standing from his large Irish family has died aged 89, peacefully in Warkworth on Sunday 30th April 2023. He is survived by his wife Rae, and family Michelle, Clive, Stella, Maria, Bryan, John, Chloe, Logan, Astin, Sebastian, Luka, Karl, Rachel, Amelia, Louis, Milan and Lucia. A funeral service for Michael will be held at Totara Park Retirement Village Hall, 9 Melwood Drive, Warkworth on Friday 5th May 2023 at 2.30pm.

Carol Hill-Smith (nee Hill) formerly Bailey.  Passed away on Saturday 15th April, 2023 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Lionel, mother of Marilyn, Murray (deceased), Biggz and Tammz, Danelle and Andy. Grandmother of Carl, Ngaire, Cara, Ashley and Stacey, and great grandmother of Paige, Chloe, Ava and Cara.  A celebration of Carol's life will be held at the Magnolia Room of Besoul Funerals on Thursday 20th April 2023 at 2.00pm.  Communications to: hello@besoul.co.nz

Jeane Irwin Savage (nee Parke) passed away peacefully on 7th April 2023 after a short battle. Loving wife and best friend to Brian. Selwyn Gregory Wright, born September 19th, 1949. Passed away on March 10th, 2023. On Friday 10th March Selwyn Wright passed away suddenly doing what he loved. Much loved husband of Marilyn, loved father of Phillippa, Hamish and Amy, Nathan and Jared, father in law of Scott, Lee and Wakana, and loved Selly (grandad) to Lucy, Mary, and George, Ivy and Harriet, Rei and Hanna. Funeral service will be held at the Kaiwaka Sports Association at 11.00am on Friday 17th March, 2023.

Passed away on Friday 3rd March 2023. Loved wife of Ken and mother of Morgan. Carol will be deeply missed. A celebration of Carol's life will be held at the Magnolia Room of Besoul Funerals, 12 Gumfield Drive, Warkworth on Monday 6th March, 2023 at 12.30.00pm to be followed by interment at Wellsford Cemetery at 2.00pm.

Peter Tickle passed away peacefully in his sleep on 4th February, 2023. Loved by Marion, Lisa, Simone, Vanya and Matt, and Tiana, Meika and Louie. Dear brother of Barry and Sonia.
